Company Description

Heights Armature Works was founded in 1932 and started its operation in two old houses in the Houston Heights. In the 60’s it was purchased by Houston Compressed Steel and moved to 107 Yale Street where it prospered. Heights expanded its services to include motor rewinding of AC and DC motors, motor redesign, the sale of new motors and scheduled maintenance. Pump repairs and new pump sales were also added along with stocking and supplying new brushes for DC motors. Since then it has grown and moved to a new location at 12250 Taylor Road on the West side of Houston.
