Job Description

Electric Apparatus & Machine is dedicated to providing only the best and highest quality electric rotor repair for motor repair shops worldwide.

We are seeking an experienced Squirrel Cage Electric Motor Mechanic to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair and rebuilding of squirrel cage rotors and related components. If your looking to elevate your industrial career and skill set to another level, this Job opening is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cage bar removal, re-insulation, restacking, and bar replacement
• Conduct brazing, machining, and dynamic balancing operations
• Rebar armatures and perform precision manual lathe work
• Utilize welding skills in the repair and restoration process
• Ensure all work meets mechanical and electrical performance standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience in electric motor repair, specifically squirrel cage rotor work
• Skilled in rebarring, manual lathing, and welding
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and meet production schedules

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience at an electric motor shop a plus.
