We are looking for a dynamic leader to be our Central Virginia Salesman. We need a candidate with the service and sales skills to help us substantially increase our compressed air market share. Previous experience in sales management and/or industrial sales is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will:
- Supervise all sales, assist and work with service personnel.
- Help to develop the overall plan for growth of the territory.
- Have profit and loss responsibility for the territory sales.
- Work within the organization to ensure its adherence to Damco’s operational guidelines.
- Assist all other Damco departments in our organization to maintain a clear and customer focus experience for all.
Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate’s background will include:
- HS Diploma (required), College degree (preferred)
- 3-5 years’ industrial sales experience, preferably in the compressed air industry or industrial/manufacturing environment.
- The ability to develop new business while increasing existing business.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills while motivating service and office staff.
- Clean driving record (required).
- Computer skills (required).
