Job Description
Matrix Drilling Products is seeking a dependable, honest, and enthusiastic individual to join our growing organization as a General Laborer. The General Laborer supports the daily manufacturing work schedule, meeting all goals of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
This position is for first shift (M-Thursday; 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.). Salary range ($16.00- $17.50per hour) based on experience. Additionally, Matrix offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Job Outline
• Report on time and per work schedule. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential job responsibility.
• Safely operate cranes, hoists, and powered industrial equipment
• Load and unload incoming or departing trucks
• Locate and move material from inventory stock to production area to complete order requirements
• Return any unused material back to inventory stock with proper labeling and its original inventory location
• Make shipping boxes and crates to best safeguard our customers’ products
• Minor maintenance grounds repairs
Custodian
• Sweep & Mop offices, bathrooms, and breakrooms. (making sure to wipe down sinks, toilets, and urinals)
• Sweep and mop shop floors as needed.
• Keep the refrigerators stocked with drinks.
• Take out trash daily.
AS NEEDED
• Clean, dust and wipe furniture down
• Wash walls and equipment as needed.
• Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and tools on an “as needed” basis.
• Wash accessible interior and exterior windows.
• Clean blinds when necessary
• Run floor scrubbers and maintain.
Knowledge Requirements
• Ability to read and understand technical information along with equipment manual instructions
• Basic math and counting skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to read tape measure
• Basic carpenter skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and
exchange information
Other Requirements
• The selected candidate will be required to pass an MVR, Drug, background, and reference screening

Education/Experience: High School Diploma/GED
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
