Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent.  Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain CDL.  Four to five years of experience is normally required.  Strong verbal, written, analytical, computer, and interpersonal skills required.  Knowledge of electrical systems and theories is required.  Must be able to background check, pass physical exam and drug screening.

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, repairs, and reconditioning of all products serviced by Stowers Machinery Corporation with no supervision in the shop or from the assigned field service truck at the customer job site.

Follows directions accurately and performs tasks in standard times while working with no supervision.

Work performed is mistake and error-free.

Accepts responsibility for own work and understands the impact of this work on the company.

Capable of inspecting equipment determining parts reusability and developing parts and material lists as needed with no supervision.

Shows interest in own work.

Knowledgeable in test equipment and procedures and capable of making repair decisions and setting up jobs with no supervision.

Prepared to purchase hand tools as required to perform the job.

Properly safeguards all tools.  Keeps an updated itemized record of employee-owned tools on file which includes pictures and cost of tools and toolbox.
