Plating Engineer Job Opening

Milwaukee, WI

Essential Job Functions:

We are seeking a hands on experienced plater for our plating shop in Milwaukee. The chosen candidate will be responsible for setting up new plating projects at two of our plating shops for various finishes including Copper, Nickel and Decorative Chrome finish, Electro-less Nickel on steel, stainless steel, brass and aluminum parts. He will help develop current projects to run efficiently and improve the process. He will be performing general troubleshooting at line operations and watch current process to find issues and areas of improvement. He will work closely with the lab tech and help with troubleshooting the plating baths.

Requirements and Skills:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the plating industry.

Good understanding of plating chemistry.

Ability to work independently with little or no directions at times.

Good organizational and documentation skills

CEF (Certified Electroplater Finisher) Certification is desirable, but not required.
