Selfridge Plating was founded by Howard Studaker in 1970. Back then, the family-owned company started out in a small 2,500 square foot shop with six employees doing hard chrome, black oxide and copper plating. Over the past thirty years, Selfridge Plating has expanded into a 45,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility with 65 employees (some still with us from day one) offering a wide range of high-quality metal finishing services to an impressive list of clients in the aerospace and defense industries.

Selfridge Plating has provided the finest of metal finishing services to its customers for more than fifty years. Located in the heart of southeastern Michigan, we offer 24-hour availability, fast turnaround time and exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.
