We are currently seeking an experienced (5 years min) Electric Motor Mechanic.

Job Description:

Constructs, repairs, maintains and tests electric motor/pump systems and components. Uses measuring and diagnostic tools to test, modify and repair electric motor units. Ensures systems and components meet established specifications. May be required to perform field service duties on occasion. May have to check other mechanics work. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Technical Degree or certifications in fields such as Electric motor and pump repair desired, up to 5000 HP. Minimum of 5 years of relevant motor repair work experience in a similar role; or a equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the testing and repair of mechanical assemblies, electrical wiring, electronic accessories, computer systems and electronic components.

Attention to detail and excellent communication skills; written and verbal. Ability to use a computer (windows environment). Ability to work in a group as well as independently. In depth experience in troubleshooting and servicing a variety of production equipment with an emphasis on electro mechanical system equipment. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
