CNC Machine Operator

Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Run Vertical or Horizontal Machining centers
- Clean/organize workshop and common areas, will include housekeeping
- Record keeping, including but not limited to inspection logs
- Part inspections
- All other tasks necessary to keep the shop running
Accountabilities
- Inspect parts as they are produced using a variety of tools. Including but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, optical comparators and digital height gauges.
- Must have the ability to work alone and unsupervised in an unwavering quality-minded role while working on complex yet aesthetically demanding parts.
- Ability to learn and use job tracking software.
- Motivated, self-starter who wants to succeed and has the ability to problem solve.
Requirements
- Ability to do basic math in all units of measure.
- Ability to read complex prints and interpret GD&T.
- Must understand Fanuc controls.
- Understand, maintain, and replace tooling as necessary.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency is required, Associates degree in machining is preferred.
- Ability to lift, up to 80lbs on a regular basis without aid.
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hours.
- Must Furnish 3 professional references with current resume
- Must pass a drug test and background screening.
- Must not have a felony, and able to possess firearms.
- All tools provided by MM, no personal tools necessary.
- Professional looking part deburring.
- Interviewee will be asked to demonstrate proficiencies in using measuring equipment including hard gaging, micro-hites, and optical comparators.
- Interviewee will also be asked to demonstrate problem solving and mechanical aptitude based skills

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
