CNC Machine Operator

Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Run Vertical or Horizontal Machining centers
  • Clean/organize workshop and common areas, will include housekeeping
  • Record keeping, including but not limited to inspection logs
  • Part inspections
  • All other tasks necessary to keep the shop running

Accountabilities

  • Inspect parts as they are produced using a variety of tools. Including but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, optical comparators and digital height gauges.
  • Must have the ability to work alone and unsupervised in an unwavering quality-minded role while working on complex yet aesthetically demanding parts.
  • Ability to learn and use job tracking software.
  • Motivated, self-starter who wants to succeed and has the ability to problem solve.

Requirements

  • Ability to do basic math in all units of measure.
  • Ability to read complex prints and interpret GD&T.
  • Must understand Fanuc controls.
  • Understand, maintain, and replace tooling as necessary.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency is required, Associates degree in machining is preferred.
  • Ability to lift, up to 80lbs on a regular basis without aid.
  • Ability to stand for 8-12 hours.
  • Must Furnish 3 professional references with current resume
  • Must pass a drug test and background screening.
  • Must not have a felony, and able to possess firearms.
  • All tools provided by MM, no personal tools necessary.
  • Professional looking part deburring.
  • Interviewee will be asked to demonstrate proficiencies in using measuring equipment including hard gaging, micro-hites, and optical comparators.
  • Interviewee will also be asked to demonstrate problem solving and mechanical aptitude based skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
