1st Shift CNC Machine Operator

Responsibilities
- Setup and Run Mill-turns OR Vertical Machining centers and Horizontal Machining centers.
- Basic understanding of Mastercam or equivalent software a must.
- Troubleshoot and adjust issues with machines.
- Clean/organize workshop and common areas, will include housekeeping.
- Record keeping, including but not limited to inspection logs and setup sheets
- Part inspections
- All other tasks necessary to keep the shop running
Accountabilities
- Inspect parts as they are produced using a variety of tools. Including but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, optical comparators and digital height gauges.
- Must have the ability to work alone and unsupervised in an unwavering quality-minded role while working on complex yet aesthetically demanding parts.
- Motivated, self-starter who wants to succeed and has the ability to problem solve.
Requirements
- Ability to do basic math in all units of measure. Trigonometry is a must.
- Ability to read complex prints and interpret GD&T.
- Must understand common G and M codes on Fanuc controls.
- Must be proficient with Fanuc controls
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency is required, Associates degree in machining is preferred.
- Ability to lift, up to 80lbs on a regular basis without aid.
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hours.
- Must pass a drug test and background screening.
- Must not have a felony, and able to possess firearms.
- All tools provided by MM, no personal tools necessary.
