We are currently hiring for a Polisher to join our team!
Job Description:
The Polisher is responsible for the final finish on brass, nickel, steel, and copper fabricated parts. Will set up, operate, or tend grinding and related tools that remove excess material or burrs from surfaces, sharpen edges or corners, or buff, hone, or polish metal or plastic workpieces. Mix or otherwise combine ingredients to create substances based on a preset formula.
Responsibilities:
Your duties include sourcing materials, weighing each element, batching correctly, and ensuring the proper ratios in the final product. Filing irregular surfaces of metal objects to conform to templates or other parts, or for aesthetics and comfort. You also use hand tools or power tools to grind, sand, buff, and clean objects to correct defects or prepare for further finishing.
Qualifications:
High school or certification. 3 years experience in finishing processes – plating, polishing, anodizing, etc.
