North American Electric, Inc., an industry leader in Electric Motors, and Motor Controls design and manufacturing, is looking for
a full time Outside Sales Manager for our West Territory to join our team. We are looking for an aggressive goal driven sales
person that has excellent presentation skills, the ability to communicate with people at all levels of an organization, and offers
solutions, while developing long-term business relationships.

We are currently seeking an Outside Sales Territory Manager – West.

Location: Remote

Job Type: Permanent (Full time / M-F / Remote)

Job Description:

This position will be responsible for building partnerships with a defined portfolio of strategic accounts across the Western
Territory and develop strong relationships with key decision makers at existing and target accounts. The Outside Sales
Manager will collaborate with internal sales teams, and support staff. This position reports directly to the V.P. of Sales and will
operate daily out of any home office within the Western Territory in the U.S.

Responsibilities will include:

− Responsible for the overall strategic management of assigned territory. Includes working with management and key
stake holders of distributor businesses to identify and capitalize on areas of opportunity.
− Develop and grow existing accounts and administer revenue forecasting, market research and drive key metrics and
dashboards to align with the divisional goals and company projected growth and profitability. Provide weekly sales
progress reports to reflect all activity.
− Develops NAE product distribution (to OEM’s and Distributors) through joint sales calls, presentations and training.
− Emphasizes salable features; quotes prices, credit terms, and delivery estimates.
− Verifies all commercial and technical aspects of quotation.
− Identify new opportunities, markets and key customer accounts and work with management to establish retention and
conversion goals.
− Conducts product training for distributor and distributor’s personnel and customers.
− Be a SME in product lines and applications in order to provide or delegate the appropriate direction of technical
guidance to customers.
− Represents the company products, mission and strategy in all venues of communication and attendance of
meetings/events. i.e. distributors, organization/associations, events and tradeshows.
− Serve as “Voice of the Customer” by making recommendations and supplying feedback to Product Management and
Engineering teams to ensure products meet and exceed customer expectations.
− Participate in company training programs and promotions.
− Responsible for ensuring accurate and dedicated maintenance of CRM account details, reporting activities within the
accounts, and reporting opportunities within the accounts.
− Requires travel and the management of all travel expenses and reports in accordance with NAE policies and
procedures.
− Performs other related duties, as assigned by the management team.
Requirements:
− BS or BA from an accredited institution is preferred
− Minimum 5 years of applicable industrial sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and
experience.
− Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
− Must be positive, proactive, enthusiastic and self-starter; able to effectively work as part of a team with proven
ability to problem-solve, strategize, multitask, plan activities and manage time effectively to meet sales objectives
− Proven track record of building business and hitting sales targets.
− Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PPT and other sales or business planning related tools.
− Willing and able to travel as required to meet with customers.
− Solid knowledge of electric motors and motor controls and their applications
