Marine Engine Assembly Technician

Established Marine Diesel Company with over 30 years in business is looking for an production line Assembly Technician for Engine packages. Company has years of experience in service, parts and sales for marine diesel propulsion engines and generators. Performance Diesel Inc. is Distributor for MAN high speed diesel engines with an extensive dealer network. Ideal candidate will have experience with engine systems, hardware and basic knowledge of fittings, hoses, thread types, etc. Basic fabrication, welding abilities, painting, and basic wiring skills a plus. Applicant must be willing to keep a clean work environment, be organized and efficient with paperwork, adaptable to multiple tasks during a work day, and have a valid drivers license.

Engine packaging duties includes coupling of marine engines to a variety of transmissions, adding client specific options to the transmission and engines, prepping engines for paint in a shop environment, and final assembly with high quality controls.

Associate will be required to pass a physical and drug screening.

Experience: 5 years as a Diesel Engine Technician preferred. Associate will be required to pass a physical and drug screening.

Hourly rate one of the highest in the Diesel Industry. Starting rate based on experience.
