Marine Diesel Technician Job posting

Established Marine Diesel Company with over 30 years in business is looking for an experienced Marine Diesel Technician.

Performance Diesel Inc. has years of experience in service, parts, and sales for marine diesel propulsion engines and generators. Performance Diesel Inc. is a Distributor for MAN high speed diesel engines with an extensive dealer network. Ideal candidate will have experience with MAN, Cummins, MTU, or Caterpillar Marine Diesel engines and ZF Marine Transmissions. Applicants must be willing to travel, be adaptable and personable, as interaction with customers is a must.

Diesel engine rebuild and marine experience preferred. Knowledge of Diagnostics systems for Engine electronics and electrical troubleshooting is a plus. Applicant must be willing to keep a clean work environment, be organized and efficient with paperwork, adaptable to multiple tasks during a work day, and have a valid drivers license.

Salary and Benefits;

Company benefits include paid vacation, work vehicle, health insurance/vision, dental insurance, and 401k.

Experience: 5 years as a Diesel Engine Technician preferred. Associate will be required to pass a physical and drug screening.

Hourly rate one of the highest in the Diesel Industry. Starting rate based on experience.
