Job Description
Prime Power Rentals is a 24/7/365 power rental provider. We offer turnkey power solutions using our fleet of portable generators, transformers and power distribution equipment. We cater to several electric utility companies throughout New England and also offer our services to a multitude of electrical contracting groups.
We’re currently hiring for a Generator Technician to join our shop!
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be joining a team of highly motivated engineers that take pride in their workmanship and are loyal to each one of their customers. Regularly provide setup & break-down services of our fleet of diesel-powered mobile generators at customer sites. Be able to furnish temporary power solutions to existing customers & potential clients. Qualified to troubleshoot both engine & generator equipment and perform repairs, as necessary. Unique opportunity to join a young, growing company that is expanding its geography, fleet and personnel.
Location: preferred location is within reasonable driving distance between our three main locations (Millbury, MA, East Longmeadow, MA, and Exeter, NH).
Requirements:
· Basic electrical & mechanical aptitude
· Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
· Capable of working long hours in sometimes harsh environments (i.e.-loud, hot, cold, etc.)
· Be available to take part in an “on-call” rotation
· Basic computer skills are preferred (email, spreadsheets, word documents, etc.)
· Exemplary customer interaction & communication skills
· Possession of basic hand tools
· CDL Class A or B driver’s license a plus
· Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour based one experience – with abundant overtime opportunities – SIGNING BONUS $1,000.
