Job Description

MEMCO is an Electric Motor Repair Company in Manassas, VA. We offer Electric Motor Repair Services and have over 50 Years of Experience. Our company prides itself on maintaining a clean, state of the art facility, providing quality service to our customers and employing and retaining great people.

We are currently seeking an Electric Motor Rewinder to join our shop.

Job Description:

Rewind electric motors, stators and armatures. Inspect equipment and parts for damage, diagnose possible reason(s) for failure. Provide information on parts/work required. Provide recommendations to improve reliability of equipment.

Prior knowledge of random winding up to 500 HP is a plus. Prior experience at electric motor shop a plus.

  • Experience OR no experience (will train)

  • Stripping motors

  • Taking data

  • Re-insulating

  • Manufacturing coils with magnetic wire

Requirements:

High School diploma or a general education degree (GED). Electrical or mechanical aptitude needed.
