Job Description

We are an Electric Motor Repair Shop based in Springfield, MA. We offer Electric Motor Repair Services and have 47 years of experience. We take prides in maintaining a clean, state of the art facility, providing quality service to our customers and employing and retaining great people.

We are currently seeking an Electric Motor Mechanic.

Job Description:

Constructs, maintains, repair and tests electric motors, pumps, generators, air compressors systems and components. Uses measuring and diagnostic tools to test, modify and repair electro – mechanical units. Ensures systems and components meet established specifications. May be required to perform field service duties. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Qualification preferred, but will train the right individual. High school diploma, Technical Degree or certifications in fields such as Electric motor repair, Industrial controls and PLCs desired. Minimum of 2 years of relevant motor repair work experience in a similar role; or a equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the testing and repair of mechanical assemblies, electrical wiring, electronic accessories and electronic components.

Attention to detail and excellent communication skills; written and verbal. Ability to use a computer (windows environment). Ability to work in a group as well as independently. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
