Job Description

We are currently seeking an Electric Motor Mechanic to join our shop.

Job Description:

An Electric Motor Rewinder with some Mechanical experience. Rewind, repair and test electric motors and generators. (AC & DC), Pump motor experience in regards to Winding and taking apart submersibles would be a plus. Uses measuring and diagnostic tools to test. May be required to perform field service duties. Familiar with standard testing and operations in a motor shop. Must be able to recognize and diagnose motor winding connections ( internal and External ). Must be able to take winding data from electric motors and generators.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years of relevant motor rewinding experience. Motor Disassembly and assembly experience would also be a plus. Experience in the testing and repair of mechanical assemblies, electrical wiring, random winding, coil winding and electronic components, up to 7200V.

Attention to detail and excellent communication skills; written and verbal. Ability to work in a group as well as independently. Experience in troubleshooting and servicing electrical motors and generators.
