Job Description

Kencoil Inc is n manufacturer of form wound stator coils, form wound armature coils, dc field coils, specialty coils. We are based in Chasse, LA. Our company prides itself on maintaining a clean, state of the art facility, providing quality service to our customers and employing and retaining great people.

We are currently seeking an Electric Motor Mechanic.

Job Description:

Repair of Pump, electric motors, compressors, etc. Constructs, maintains, and tests electric motor systems and components. Uses measuring and diagnostic tools to test, modify and repair electric motor units. Ensures systems and components meet established specifications. May be required to perform field service duties. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Technical Degree or certifications in fields such as Electric motor repair, Industrial controls and PLCs desired. Minimum of 3 years of relevant motor repair work experience in a similar role; or a equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the testing and repair of mechanical assemblies, electrical wiring, electronic accessories, computer systems and electronic components. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills; written and verbal. Ability to use a computer (windows environment). Ability to work in a group as well as independently. In depth experience in troubleshooting and servicing a variety of production equipment with an emphasis on electric servo system equipment. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
