We are currently seeking an Electric Motor Mechanic to join our shop.

Job Description:

ELECTRIC MOTOR MECHANIC **$2,500 retention bonus**

This position is responsible for disassembling, inspecting, cleaning, repairing, testing, and reassembling electric motors both single and three phase AC/DC

Job functions:

Read job cards to determine job status, work authorizations/limitations, description of problems, and/or expected serviceability.
Disassemble electric motors noting parts identification, configuration, and condition.
Assemble electric motor, record material used to complete job.
Perform basic test of electromechanical equipment and document accordingly.
Operate Megger, Surge Tester, Volt-Ohm Meter, Growler, Amp Meters.
Experience using various manual lathes (but not required)
Random or Form Coil winding experience (but not required)

Requirements:

Would prefer a Minimum 1-2 years hands-on experience with electric motor repair.
Ability to perform basic math
Fluent in English (written, verbal)
Ability to understand and perform various job related training, operational, and safety procedures.
Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision making related to routine duties within company standards
Ability to operate fork lifts, and other equipment.
Effectively handle lifting of various objects up to 40lbs and be able to push, pull, kneel, stand, and frequently walk
Ability to be cross trained in different aspects of electric motor repair (mechanic, winding, machining) etc.

Applicant must have a current valid drivers license with reliable transportation and be able to pass random drug and alcohol screening.

Must be willing to relocate to Bowman, North Dakota area

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday

Work Location: One location

Salary and Benefits:

Wage: $20-28 DOE plus benefits – signing bonus, retirement, medical, PTO, Vacation, paid relocation for the right candidate, etc.
