Job Summary
Green Flash Machine is seeking an experienced Tool Maker to build, repair, and maintain precision tooling used in prototype and production machining. The ideal candidate has a strong machining background, excellent blueprint reading skills, and the ability to produce high-quality tooling while maintaining tight tolerances. Interested? Responsibilities

• Build, repair, modify, and maintain precision tools, fixtures, jigs, and dies.
• Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools.
• Perform precision machining using EDM wire cutting, milling, grinding, drilling, and sawing equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD prints.
• Produce tooling for prototypes and low-volume production projects.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and recommend process improvements.
• Work closely with machinists and engineers to develop new products and manufacturing solutions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Tool Maker or precision machining experience preferred.
• Experience with EDM wire cutting and CNC machining operations.
• Strong knowledge of manual machining, grinding, milling, drilling, and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to hold tight tolerances and produce high-quality precision parts.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
