<p>REQUIRES random drug and alcohol testing throughout the year. The drug test screens for: Marijuana, Amphetamines, Cocaine, Opiates, Phencyclidine and semi-synthetic opioids: hydrocodone, oxycodone, hydromorphone, and oxymorphone.</p>
<p>Position Summary<br />
Primary focus is close tolerance manual machining of low volume parts that our over 2 dozen CNC Machines cannot finish. Fabricate tooling to support our nearly 80,000 square foot machine shop. Performs setup on and operates a variety of machining equipment including lathes, mills and grinders while working to close tolerances from complex drawings. Collaborates with colleagues to maximize productivity in the precision manufacturing of the highest quality valves &amp; actuators for aerospace and power generation customers</p>
<p>Responsibilities<br />
• Read and interpret complex blue prints, shop travelers, and operation sketches for machined and/or fabricated parts.<br />
• Inspect parts to specifications and document results.<br />
• Build and install fixtures.<br />
• Report machinery, tooling or quality issues to supervisor.<br />
• Run multiple machines as required.<br />
• Perform additional duties as assigned.</p>
<p>Education and Experience<br />
• This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization.<br />
• 5 years of experience in toolmaking or operating a variety of machining equipment to produce parts within tolerances of 5 thousandths or less.<br />
• Ability to work from complex drawings containing GD&amp;T and perform accurate manual inspections of parts produced.<br />
• High School Graduate or equivalent; technical certification or degree a plus.</p>

<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p>
<p>The IDEAL Pump is seeking a skilled Machinist with experience in both manual and CNC machining to support the repair, rebuilding, and manufacturing of pump components. This role requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a shop environment.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>• Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and drill presses<br />
• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (lathe and/or mill)<br />
• Machine pump components such as shafts, sleeves, bushings, and housings<br />
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings<br />
• Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges<br />
• Repair and recondition worn or damaged pump parts<br />
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure quality standards are met<br />
• Assist with disassembly and reassembly of pumps as needed<br />
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area organized<br />
• Follow all safety procedures and shop best practices</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<p>• 3+ years of machining experience (manual and/or CNC)<br />
• Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling<br />
• Experience with pump repair or rotating equipment (preferred)<br />
• Ability to read blueprints and work to precise tolerances<br />
• Familiarity with CNC programming (G-code or conversational) is a plus<br />
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills<br />
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods</p>
<p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p>
<p>• Experience machining stainless steel, cast iron, and alloys<br />
• Knowledge of shaft repair, sleeving, and fitting<br />
• Welding or fabrication experience (a plus)</p>

This role focuses on precision machining of AC and DC electric motors and components, with additional repair and restoration work. The ideal candidate takes pride in accuracy, craftsmanship, and working to exact specifications.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>• Perform manual machining on AC and DC electric motors and related components<br />

• Undercut armatures and perform precision component restoration<br />
• Sleeve components and perform shaft repairs<br />
• Conduct cold spray / build-up repairs on motor shafts<br />
