Mobile Services & Equipment is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing, locally owned repair business. This position is ideal for a dependable, highly skilled technician with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience and be committed to quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on heavy equipment
• Identify mechanical failures and implement effective repair solutions in a timely manner
• Complete repair documentation and communicate findings with management and customers
• Work independently in the field and shop environment
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work area
• Comply with all safety policies and jobsite requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years heavy equipment or diesel mechanic experience
• Strong diagnostic skills in diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card
• Completion of OSHA basic safety training (or willingness to complete)
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must own required tools
• Willingness to work overtime as business needs require
